steve  2007-12-15 10:57   Shaw Festival Artistic Director Jackie Maxwell recently announced the 2008 season. The season explores vital and provocative stories that resonate with the wit, relevance and insight for which George Bernard Shaw was well known.

In making the season announcement, Ms. Maxwell noted: Shaw to Sondheim, Molnar to MacDonald, the 2008 Season takes every opportunity to engage, entertain and challenge with a richly diverse selection of provocative dramas, exquisite musicals, glittering ensemble pieces and newly minted theatrical gems.

The 2008 playbill details, which includes ten productions, as well as four concert performances of Stephen Sondheim's legendary musical Follies, can be viewed in the Shaw Playbill.
